If you’ve visited us recently, you may have noticed a bit more hustle and bustle than usual. City Hall is currently undergoing some much-needed HVAC renovations to ensure our building stays comfortable for years to come. While we are excited about the improvements, the project does mean things will look a little different at the library for the next few weeks.

The Ottawa Library is undergoing significant HVAC system renovations to ensure a comfortable and efficient environment for all patrons.

In celebration of the 250 th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the Carnegie Corporation of New York has gifted $10,000 to 1350-plus surviving Carnegie Libraries.  Ottawa Library is proud of our history as a Carnegie Library and a grateful recipient of this generous gift.

Great news! As of today, Friday, March 13th, the elevator is working.
