Join our casual fiber-arts community. While we started out focusing on knitting and crochet, we have expanded to include needlepoint, sewing, quilting, rug hooking, spinning, and more. We are open to all levels of experience from those just curious to master artisans.

Genealogy Club

2nd Saturday of each month 9:00am

Franklin County Genealogical Society meetings are open to anyone with an interest in genealogy. There is no cost, and no reservation is needed. Just come and bring your questions and whatever helpful tips you are willing to share. Meetings take place in the study room at Ottawa City Hall, Room 103. Find more information on their webpage.

Minecraft Bedrock Edition is available on eight of our public computers. Players need an Xbox Live account to connect to external servers, but not to play local games. You are welcome to use one of these computers whenever available or stop by for our organized playtime on Fridays, right after Read & Feed.

Dedicated to exploring and documenting historical sites throughout Franklin County, Kansas. For members of the Franklin County Rural History Club, warm weather means one thing: field trips. Our first adventure of 2018 took us a few miles southwest of Ottawa, where a quiet farm near Interstate 35 shared some–but not all–of its secrets. Find out more on their website.
