Through a generous grant with the City of Ottawa, patrons are able to check out Dell Latitude laptops. To borrow a laptop, the patron must have an account with Ottawa Library in good standing, 18 years of age or older, and an Ottawa address. Borrowers are limited to one laptop per account.

Accessories - Laptops check out with a carrying bag. Peripherals like a USB Optical Mouse and USB DVD-ROM may be available upon request. Quantities are very limited.
Limit - Patrons are limited to one laptop checked out.
Age - The patron must be 18 years of age or older.
Duration - Laptops check out for 21 days.
Renewals - Laptops may be eligible for renewal depending on demand.
Fines - Late devices will accrue fines of $10.00 per day and library privileges will be revoked until fines are paid. Devices not returned 2 days after the due date will be treated as theft and appropriate legal action may be taken.
