Ottawa Library is proud to offer notary service to our community. Please keep the following in mind:

• Notary service may not be available during all business hours.

• Please call ahead to confirm a notary is available.

• There is no cost to use the library's notary service.

• The notary will ask to see a photo ID to verify the identity of the signer. 

• The signer must appear in person at the time of notarization and will be asked to sign in the presence of the notary. The notary is responsible for witnessing the signature and verifying the identity of the signer.

Please note: The library's notaries are NOT attorneys licensed to practice law in Kansas. They are NOT allowed to draft legal records or advise on legal matters.
