Harvester’s Meet & Eat

Enjoy a snack and activity after school 3:30 – 4:30 PM, Tuesdays & Thursdays. Snacks are provided for children preschool – 12th grade. We do ask that children under the age of 9 are accompanied by an adult. Snacks must be kept to the Children’s activity room.


Story Times

We have several regularly occurring Story Times for many different age groups. Older sibling are welcome, but content will be geared towards the intended age group. We ask that children are accompanied by an adult.

Books & Babies

Tuesdays 10:00 AM

Enjoy an interactive story-time with your baby that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, fingerplays, and body movement. The program will improve motor, sensory, and social skills through caregiver and baby play time. Plus gives parents/caregivers a time to socialize with others. For ages birth- 18 months, older siblings are always welcome.


Tuesdays 6:30 PM
Fridays 10:00 AM

Nurture your child’s love of books and the library while having a great time! This program is geared toward children ages 3 to 6 years old, accompanied by their favorite adult. Have fun with your child by engaging in stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, crafts, and so much more.

Sensory Storytime & Play

Wednesdays 10:00 AM

This storytime is designed to engage kids through movement, music, stories, and sensory-activity play. Sensory Storytime will be approximately 30 minutes and involve stories, songs, large and small movement activities, sensory experiences to stimulate all five senses, and lots of interaction. Each storytime will be followed by an open 45-minute playgroup with sensory-activity stations for kids and families to explore together. If you’re running late, feel free to just join us at approximately 10:30, once the doors open, and playtime begins. For ages 3 and older, no registration required, held in the Children’s Activity Room.

Toddler Time

Thursdays 10:00 AM

Toddler Time is a weekly, informal storytime for children ages 18 to 36 months and their accompanying adult. Toddlers and their caregivers will learn new songs, rhymes, and fingerplays, share books, and make new friends. No registration is required, held in the Children’s Activity Room.

MESS Storytime

4th Tuesday 6:30 PM

MESS (Marvelous Explorations through Science and Stories) is an interactive storytime that gives children an opportunity to discover their world. We will begin with an introduction through stories followed by parent/caregivers leading their child through stations that reinforce the concept through science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities. Recommended for ages 3 and older, no registration required, held in the Children’s Activity Room.

Family Night

2nd Tuesday 6:30 PM

Bring the whole family to the library for a story and activities. All ages are welcome. Previous activities have included Legos, 
Blanket Forts, Flashlights, Board Games, and Seasonal Crafts
